JOB SUMMARY:
Scheduling Supervisor needed for a Salt Lake area employer. Provides leadership and guidance to Scheduling Specialists and Lead Scheduling Specialist. Ensures service provided to external and internal customers is provided in a professional, helpful, timely and accurate manner, in accordance with departmental standards, ADA, DOT, FTA, and company's collective bargaining agreement. Develops team members by providing supervision, support, feedback, and training. Maintains staffing levels to ensure adequate phone coverage in accordance to ADA guidelines and quality customer service goals. Develops and publishes various reports regarding department statistical information, updates and creates SOP?s and other reports. Supports the Scheduling Specialists minimize caller hold times as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/TRAINING: Associate?s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. EXPERIENCE: Must have three years of Customer Service, Call Center or closely related work experience. Must have two years previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience serving a disabled population is preferred. Experience in the transit industry preferred. Knowledge * Knowledge of company systems and Special Services policies and procedures preferred * Knowledge of ADA mandated conditions of eligibility preferred Skills * Strong Analytical skills * Intermediate skill level of MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook Abilities * Prepare and write analytical reports using company approved report writing tools * Learn and develop advanced Trapeze Software and intermediate Access skills * Leadership * Time management and prioritize tasks * Function effectively under stress * Decision making * Conflict resolution * Sensitivity and diplomacy * Ability to speak a second language preferred - OR - An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
