Title: Business Analyst - Vendor Risk Management Location: UT - Salt Lake Service Cente Zions Bancorporation is now accepting resumes for our Business Analyst position in our Vendor Risk Management department. This position can be located in either Salt Lake City, UT, or Houston, TX. The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to: * Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems, processes and user needs * Perform and participate in the analysis, design and implementation of business systems following appropriate standards and requirement gathering * Formulate proposals for new systems, procedures and/ or processes * Conduct tests or test planning sessions, provide input for feasibility and prepare user documentation and follow-up evaluation * Act as a liaison with subsidiary management and staff to resolve problems and improve processes or systems * Work as a team member of business analyst group and be able to provide support for existing department systems * Perform other duties as assigned * Requires a BachelorA??s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance * 2 yearsA?? experience in business systems, processes, analysis and support or other directly related fields * Strong knowledge of requirements definition process: Use cases, User stories creation experience * SQL query writing experience for the data mining /reporting activities preferred * Experience in system integration and data migration a plus * Basic knowledge of project techniques and practices * Knowledge of department specific computer applications or other knowledge skills or abilities may apply * Strong problem solving, analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written Zions Bancorporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer
