JOB SUMMARY:
Jr. Jazz Official I needed for a Sandy employer. Under the direction of the Recreation Coordinator, officiates Jr. Jazz basketball leagues and tournament play. Jr. Jazz games are played weekday evenings starting at 5pm and Saturdays between the hours of 8am-4pm. Games are played at various sites in Sandy. Referees will work 5-15 hours a week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Prefer some basketball officiating experience; state certification helpful, but not required; position will require you to be trained and then pass a test before officiating. Knowledge of basketball programs, rules and equipment usage; proper English usage. Great responsibility for using rules to make officiating decisions which affect the activities of people. Must pass drug test before hire. EOE
