Property Maintenance Technician : Sandy Utah Responsibilities: Maintenance Technician is responsible for timely completion of all phases of apartment make ready work, troubleshooting and repair of most major and all minor mechanical systems and for unsupervised, timely completion of occupied apartment service requests in accordance with predefined company and property standards. Must be able to perform administrative support duties for maintenance related activities. Responsible for completion of all work tasks in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with company safety standards, and for the relay of information regarding the property or operations which might constitute a physical or liability hazard. May be called upon to perform groundskeeper responsibilities snow removal. Complete all other tasks or duties as assigned and necessary to facilitate the efficient or safe functioning of the company. Qualifications: Two years direct experience in maintenance fields. Must be proficient in most areas of apartment maintenance including plumbing, electricity, painting drywall, floor coverings, carpentry, locks, appliances, pools spas, roofs, and life safety equipment. Formal training or certificates reflecting completion of maintenance related course or courses or two or more years inter-company training/experience. Basic written skills and strong oral communication are required. Ability to function effectively in customer service atmosphere. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job. Available for emergency call duties and weekend work. Criminal Backgrounds Performed. Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Salary: $12.00- $14.00 Hourly DOE
