JOB DESCRIPTION: The SALES ASSISTANT/LEAD DEVELOPER is primarily responsible for developing interest in the Bill Good Marketing System with individuals who are qualified to purchase it. The Sales Assistant/Lead Developer hunts for new prospects for our Senior Salespeople to close. He or she is responsible for introducing Bill Good Marketing's products and services to new prospects. Taking into account our corporate reputation in the Industry, this is a great opportunity for a money-motivated, hard-working individual. The right candidate will be friendly and effective in a consultative selling process. This is an entry level sales position, with a better than average pay rate, and training is available for candidates making a career change into sales. The successful candidate will function independently and report to the company sales manager. He or she will meet or exceed sales lead goals on a consistent basis. The Sales Assistant/Lead Developer is required to make a high volume of out-bound calls daily, build and maintain an overall sales pipeline of prospective leads, answer questions, handle objections and send out materials. We seek candidates who are passionate about a consultative selling method. Position Duties: * Accept inbound inquiries from individuals referred to Bill Good Marketing, explain services and related costs * Effectively develop interest in our marketing system and other products to prospects * Conduct presentations over the telephone and/or via the internet to potential clients * Enter leads and details of all communications into software database * Meet minimum requirements in the areas of daily sales calls, quality and productivity by efficiently answering, initiating and handling calls * Review and gain knowledge of financial services industry challenges and opportunities * Maintain a general knowledge of all current changes and amendments to industry regulations * Effectively follow-up with pending leads, at specified time intervals, using appropriate sales methods to increase closing sales ratios * Follow and abide by all Company Guidelines Skills and Experience: * Must be money-motivated! * A proven ability to consistently achieve quotas and goals * A proven ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally * Effective presentation skills * Excellent computer skills (i.e. Excel - Word) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Sales experience will be beneficial COMPANY OVERVIEW: Since 1977, Bill Good Marketing has been the leader in providing marketing and productivity solutions to the financial services industry.
