Nutrition Service Worker is needed for a Saratoga Springs educational institute. 1 position available @ 6 hours per day, $8.92 an hour, beginning ASAP, Non-contract, no benefits. The job of Child Nutrition Worker was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the food service activities at assigned location with specific responsibilities for preparing and serving food items to students and/or school personnel; and maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition. Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent with competency in reading, writing and interpersonal relations. Must maintain current Food Handlers Permit after hired. No prior experience necessary, but must provide references to demonstrate honesty, dependability and initiative. Must have ability to lift 50 pounds. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff, ability to get along well with others and work under stressful situations. Must have the ability to do extensive walking, standing, bending, etc. Current food handlers's permit preferred or required within 30 days of hire. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeated throughout a work day. Must be able to push/pull up to 150 lbs. repeated throughout a work day.
