JOB SUMMARY:
Data Base Manager is needed for a Salt Lake employer. The Database Team Manager is responsible for aspects of the customer database (SDB) from development, support, report creation, data accuracy and recommendations for future functionality. This person will own the interaction between Sales and Engineering on areas of database functionality and ensuring projects are completed on time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Manage the day-to-day development of features of SDB. * Take responsibility for the accuracy of the data. * Generate reports. * Support the field team (managers and Trainers) with questions and issues and represent issues to Engineering). * Look for anomalies in data and processes and bring them to the attention of superior, along with suggestions for improvement. * Recommend changes, updates and fixes to the database. * Incorporate the reporting of sales activities including warehouse and verification management into the database. * Must be proactive to identify and fix problems with SDB. * 100% accuracy in Sales team?s data entry. * Review current reports and where needed, develop new reports to monitor maintain accuracy of information within SDB. * As requested, develop training for use of SDB. * Monitor SDB help email account and respond to requests within 48 hours. * All other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience: * Previous experience with CRM systems. * Working knowledge of basic database functions. * Experience working with PowerPoint, Excel Word documents. * Must multitask well be proactive. * Must demonstrate ability to keep information confidential.
