JOB SUMMARY:
Field Help Desk Technician is needed for a Salt Lake employer. Provides assistance and support to Sorenson CaptionCall Trainers for new installations. Have the skills necessary to troubleshoot wireless installations. Must be familiar with various types of routers and ISPs. Be willing to participate and provide extensive quality assurance testing on new phones as they arrive in the warehouse. Possess exceptional problem solving abilities and training capabilities. Demonstrate a proven ability to develop these same traits in others. Must have good customer facing skills and be flexible. Essential Duties: * Report service related issues and interface with the CaptionCall Technical Support Department. * Evaluate quality and product issues of CaptionCall phones * Must be knowledgeable about the CaptionCall phone and firmware, FCC regulations, policies and procedures of CaptionCall, and all updates to the firmware and equipment. * Must be knowledgeable about Internet Protocol settings and be familiar with all technical aspects of installing CaptionCall phones including networking and router configurations. * Show an ongoing willingness to accept additional duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications, Education and/or Experience: * Possess a working knowledge of advanced computer functions, including web administration interface. * A minimum of two years experience working with Excel Word documents. * Knowledge of summary reports is a plus. * Knowledge of web programming is a plus. * Knowledge of wired and wireless networking required. * Multi-tasking skills required. * Must possess, at a minimum, a High School Diploma with proven employment capabilities. * Possess excellent cognitive skills.
