JOB SUMMARY:
Senior Product Manager is needed for Salt Lake employer. As a Sr. Product Manager you will be responsible for guiding a product line team extend the development of existing products and develop new ideas based on your industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time with customers to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with executive management to champion product strategies and match them to company goals. You will work with engineering to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing and sales to define the go-to-market strategy, helping each understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal evangelist for your product, and may occasionally work with sales as an external evangelist. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform market analysis by identifying customer problems and opportunities; assessing key technologies and researching competitors. * Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning and business justification to tactical activities such as writing requirements and measuring product performance. * Specify product requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. * Drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Engineering, Marketing and Sales) through product requirements and positioning. * Engage and analyze potential partner relationships as needed. Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience: * 10+ years of software product management experience. * A demonstrable track record of delivering products to market. * Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related work experience.
