JOB SUMMARY:
Tech Support I is needed for a Salt Lake employer. This position, Technical Support I, will provide information and support to VRS and IP-Relay users about Sorenson Communication's products and services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Resolve techincal support and customer service issues received through VP, email and other contact methods. * Explain Sorenson video phone features and benefits to customers * Provide basic technical assistance to video phone and VRS customers. * Provide support for the functionality and features of all Sorenson products and services. * Be able to understand and follow instructions/procedures * Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. * Be able to work with Businesses and IT departments with getting our products to work properly. Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience: * College degree preferred or equivalent experience. * Minimum of 6 months experience installing/configuring networks. * 1 year experience working directly with customers. * 6 months Technical Support experience. * Working understanding of TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, bridges and modems.
