JOB SUMMARY:
Telephone Technical Support II is needed for a Salt Lake employer. Provide customer service and technical assistance to installers and customers. Use technical and communication expertise to help users with our products. Use excellent customer service skills in resolving issues reported to technical support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Be able to instruct our customers in installing Sorenson devices through DSL and Cable network devices. * Provide technical and Customer Service assistance to customers through phone, email, and instant messaging. Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience: * College degree preferred or equivalent experience. * Minimum of 1 year experience installing/configuring networks. * Minimum of 1 Year experience working directly with customers. * Minimum of 1 Year experience supporting PC's and PC networks. * Previous experience working in a Call Center a plus but not required. * Be able to install, configure and troubleshoot network devices. * Working understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routers, switches, firewalls, bridges and modems. * Must be detail oriented. * Work well with other co-workers. * Knowledge in wireless security setups. * Desire to work closely with customers.
