Owner Services Representative Job#: 1790 Positions: 1 Posted: 10/30/2012 Job Type: Full Time Staff Location: Lodging Department: 064 - Cliff Lodge Employees Category: Available Positions Salary: 11 - Apply To This Job Return To List Job Description *All job opportunities at Snowbird Ski amp; Summer Resort require the ability to comply with our Professional Appearance, Drug amp; Alcohol, and Employee Conduct Policies. $DOE Purpose Under the direction of The Cliff Club Owner Services Manager: Works directly with The Cliff Club owners, guest of the Cliff and other resort personnel by phone, mail, email and in-person to answer/assist with questions, special requests, problems and information regarding, but not limited to, ownerships in the timeshare condominiums. Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility 1. Accurately process/input requests by owners for reservations and assessment payments in the resort property management system. 2. Assists inbound exchange guests with reservations and questions via telephone, email and in-person contact. 3. Prepare for weekly arrivals by coordinating room assignments, creating and copying resort information packets, verifying ownership and exchange company inbound reports, and working with The Cliff Lodge Front Desk to resolve any issues. 4. Assist in the preparation and distribution of various projects including mailings, information sheets, policies and procedures, etc. as deemed necessary by Management. 5. Requires the ability to interact with guests of the resort and The Cliff Club owners in a friendly and accomodating manner. 6. May be required to work independently. Must be able to pursue and complete projects on own. 7. Assists the Front Desk in check-in/check-out of guests and owners, as well as answering general resort questions via telephone or in-person on an as needed basis. 8. Travel: Occasional travel to/from resort. Interactions 1. Direct and continuous contact with guests. 2. Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments. 3. Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird. Education amp; Experience Requirements 1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2. Associates degree in related field. Additional related work experience may be substituted for education. 3. 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence. Specific Requirements: 1. Must be at least 21 years of age. Skills amp; Knowledge Technical: Minimum 2 years college recommended or equivalent work experience required. Administrative: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Outlook, Excel and Access. Knowledge of SMS-HOST by PAR Springer Miller Systems recommended. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with guests and co-workers. Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks with continued interruption. Working Conditions Work Schedule: 1. Specific Shift: Position requires the ability to work a varied schedule depending on business levels, with most shifts daily 9:00AM to 5:00PM, at least one weekend night and most Sundays. Mental: 1. Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary on occasional times of road closures. 2. May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird. Physical: 1. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. 2. Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings. General office conditions prevail. Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.
