JOB SUMMARY:
The Registered Radiology Technologist (RRT) is a valuable team member who provides extraordinary care in making patients feel comfortable and at ease while in the urgent care setting. The role of the Registered Rad Tech is to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures consistent with training and licensure that require sound judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Responsibilities will include preparing patients for exams, responding to patients needs, accurate completion of documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and fellow employees. The RRT seeks and accepts consultation and feedback for the purpose of maintaining or improving the quality of diagnostic films. Because of the unique urgent care setting, the RRT may be given additional responsibilities to include splinting and other patient care as needed. Snowbird Clinic is a seasonal clinic located at Snowbird Ski Resort. The Clinic is open 7 days week fromNovember to May. The Clinic is open from 9:30 am 5:00 pm or when the last patient leaves. You must have reliable transportation and plan ahead to arrive at the clinic on time despite winter driving conditions. Road conditions and closures occasionally require employees to stay overnight at the clinic. Entry Rate: Dependentupon experience Benefits Eligible: Yes Minimum Requirements Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current Radiology Technologist (RT) licensure in the State of Utah This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification.
