JOB SUMMARY:
Forecast Lifecycle Analyst Requisition # 255-4304 Responsible for tracking product release, change, and end of life processes to determine impact to the Forecasting Department/Operations division. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED ? Responsible for reviewing impact of product lifecycle process for the Operations division. ? Review ECN?s to ensure correct implementation and disposition of materials for the various Operations Group impacts. ? Track use up and implementation transitions within the ECN process. ? Work with internal customers regarding new products and product changes to ensure proper forecasting of items to the sales divisions and countries. ? Review current forecast requirements to ensure Pick-to-Order and Cross Reference settings are appropriate for demand integrity. ? Review item attributes and system settings and make recommendations where appropriate for changes. ? Manage inventory targets, including safety stock levels, which are approved by management. ? Identify slow moving and obsolete inventory and recommend plan to use up inventory or scrap. Work with the Accounting departement for Reserve review and update reports. ? Identify and process unused part numbers through the life cycle process. ? Performs other related duties and tasks, as required. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS ? Lifting -- Not to exceed 50 lbs. ? local practice may apply. ? Writing ? Sitting ? Standing ? Bending ? Vision ? Color perception ? Depth perception ? Reading ? Field of vision/peripheral ? Fine motor skills SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ? Education and/or experience equivalent to a related Bachelor?s Degree. ? Work related experience equivalent to four years of production and forecast planning. Good understanding of product lifecycle and ECN/ECO processes. ? Demonstrated working knowledge of production planning techniques and material control principles. ? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with others. ? Knowledge of business math. ? Ability to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner. ? Excellent attention to detail. ? Good communication and organizational skills. ? Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs. Oracle planning tools are strongly preferred
