JOB SUMMARY:
Network Support Professionals is needed to provide general and technical support at our South Jordan, Utah delivery center facility. Preferred Qualifications - For Junior and Senior Positions: * Applicants must be self-starters able to troubleshoot network and OS issues with limited assistance. * Applicants must be self-development oriented and capable of learning new technology on an independent basis. * Applicants must be capable of learning new and emerging technologies quickly. * Experience with software and hardware debugging * Working knowledge of routing protocols RIP and OSPF * Experience installing/configuring Internet services i.e. HTTP, FTP, SNMP, TFTP, etc. * Working knowledge of the OSI Model and TCP/IP stack. Understanding of other network protocol suits is a plus. * Working knowledge with the following standards: IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/I, WEP and WPA, EAP TLS, TTLS, PEAP and IEEE 802.1x * Experience with STP (IEEE 802.1d/w/s), VLAN (IEEE 802.1q), and Link Aggregation (IEEE 802.3ad) * Experience with POSIX and Windows ACL permissions. * Preferred Qualifications for Senior Level Positions: * Certifications: CCNA, Network+, Linux+/LPIC, ACA/ACSP. * Understanding of VoIP technology. * Experience with routing and switching functions i.e. VPN, VLAN, QOS, Static Routing, etc. * Windows and Linux OS and networking experience, Mac OSX experience though not required is a plus. * Working knowledge of RAID arrays, Network Attached Storage, Storage Area Networks and backup software.
