JOB SUMMARY:
Position Summary: We are looking for an employee whose skills are centered around software engineering but with a background in the Information Systems Technology area. Position will primarily focus on database administrations, complex query and report building, server administration and other software development projects. Problem solving skills, the ability to learn on your own, self-motivation and the ability to work in a group of IT and Software Engineers is a must. Software Engineering is an always changing target. You will be expected to stay current with new technologies and coding languages on your own time; bringing your experience and knowledge to the table. Knowledge of the PEO industry and good written and oral communication skills are recommended. Position Requirements: 1. 4 year bachelor degree with emphasis in Computer Science or similar. 2. 3+ years of experience in the database development and MS SQL Server environments. a. Assist in Microsoft SQL Server administration b. SQL Server Reporting Services including knowledge of custom reporting using SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio or Visual Studios. c. SSIS for performing broad range data migration tasks. d. SSAS for analytics e. SQL indexes, integrity checks, performance, memory, CPU. f. SQL replication, clustering and load balancing 3. Knowledge of Server, Network and Database Security. This would include best practice methods of securing private data for our clients. We must comply with HIPAA standards. 4. Strong Software Development Skills (knowledge of programming language and procedures) a. T-SQL syntax coding (strong coding requirement) b. .Net Framework 4.0 (C#, ASP.Net) i. Linq, CLR c. JavaScript, VB d. OOP and ORM Other Preferred Criteria but not required: 1. Network Administrator 2. Domain Administrator a. Microsoft System Center b. Knowledge of Windows Server Features c. CRM, Project, SharePoint, Lync, Exchange, Terminal Services d. DFS File server Administration and file replication 3. SAN Management 4. VMWare Hyper-V Management 5. Knowledge of the Linux OS and operations
