JOB SUMMARY:
Sales executive needed for Springville employer. POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Sells products in a manner that increases market share and profitability while minimizing cost through the efficient and effective use of advertising media, SWAG, tour groups, promotions and public relations. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and implements strategic sales plans to support corporate goals Reviews market studies and analyses to determine distributor and customer needs, competitive and profitable pricing strategies, and promotion benefits Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition on a frequent and regular basis Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales forecasts, and opportunities for market expansion Determines budgetary requirements for sales needs, and controls expenditures accordingly Recommends beneficial advertising, marketing, promotion programs, and public relations activities through various communication mediums, (i.e., radio, television, newspapers, magazines, the Internet Websites, outdoor signs, exhibits, displays, brochures, flyers, inserts, seminars, meetings, etc.) Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist distributors in promoting sales Delivers sales presentations to key clients and distributors Develops SWOT analysis that provides information regarding findings of market research, marketing strategies, and marketing economics to include identifying potential market threats, current and future demand for products and services, existing and emerging competitors, and internal and/or external threats (i.e., legislation) Represents the company at trade association meetings and conventions to promote product Is always respectful of diversity and professional in all interactions Note: This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Marketing or Business, with 8 to 10 years experience in related industry, or equivalent combination of both. Supervisory experience required. Experience in domestic and international network marketing is highly preferred. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have the ability to communicate persuasively, both orally and in writing, with other managers, staff, and the public; must be mature, creative, highly motivated, resistant to stress, flexible, decisive, tactful, respectful, and use good judgment, and must have ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with supervisors, professional staff members, consultants, agencies, and distributors; and, must have an exceptional understanding of financial reports with the ability to manipulate and make justifiable recommendations based on financial predictions
