JOB SUMMARY:
A growing manufacturer of aerospace components located in St. George, Utah, has an immediate opening for a CNC programmer. Requires minimum 5 years programming experience with any Cad/Cam Software, but experience with Esprit is a plus. Applicant must know how to use modern machine shop inspection tools and be proficient in reading blue prints. Job Duties -Create CNC programs using Esprit cam for multi axis Mazak and citizen mill turn machine and 3 to 4 axis milling machines. -Improve and maintain CNC programs. -prepare for production manufacturing by designing all gages and fixtures for machining and inspection. -Create and maintain documentation for production on CNC Machines. -Maintain contact with software and equipment suppliers regarding new developments relevant to CNC numerical control fields. -Assist Engineering with quoting new products and developing manufacturing processes. -Coordinate tool selections in support of the new and existing CNC programs. -Provide industrial / manufacturing engineering support. -Foster and encourage modern machining practices and initiatives throughout the department.
