Service Technician June 25, 2012 - November 25, 2012 Location: St George, UT Salary Range: $10 per hour plus bonuses Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex, 401K Employment Type: Part Time Department: St George, Utah Description: service technician simply mac is a premier apple retailer and service provider that has been recognized by utah business magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in utah. simply mac is a division of spring retail group, which currently operates 70+ consumer technology retail stores in utah, idaho and colorado. simply mac excels at providing a world-class experience in our retail stores. our customers have many customized needs, expectations, and services compared to the typical retail customer. as a member of the applecare service program you will be a part of a team that cares and values its customers by offering high-quality service and support. simply mac will provide the tools, training and the expertise needed to be successful in this position. the success of the individual in this role will be determined by the candidateapos;apos;s ability to expand the service team while providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction, and operational excellence. position summary: a technician is required to diligently execute the applecare service program and is a member of the service team. the position emphasizes skill-sets in the areas of customer support amp; relations, software and hardware troubleshooting and resolution, problem diagnosis, and hardware repair and replacement, within a service center environment. the technician s primary role will be to provide excellent service and support to our many customers. the technician is the company s follow-up contact with the customer, and as such must be proactive in informing customers of the progress of their computer repair while demonstrating excellent customer service skills and communication. Duties: team building: ?effectively fulfill simply mac s shared vision and objectives. ?be a positive example to team members by offering world-class experience and customer service when troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing products. operations: ?ensure that the day to day operations including upholding store appearance, merchandise and staffing standards are met. ?assure uniformity and enforcement of the policies and procedures sales goals: ?guarantee that all customers are assisted in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
