JOB SUMMARY:
Small Assisted Living searching for a PT Sous Chef for the Kitchen. The Sous Chef Is the second-in-command and runs the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef. Performs the same duties as the Executive Chef in regards to preparing meals -- seasons and cooks a wide range of foods from soups, snacks, and salads to entrees, side dishes, and desserts. They coordinate the work of the kitchen staff and directs the preparation of meals. This includes determining serving sizes, planning menus, ordering food supplies, and overseeing kitchen operations to ensure uniform quality and presentation of meals. A minimum of 6 months experience as a Cook or Chef is required.
