In addition, incumbents performing duties at each level must possess the following respective qualifications: Level E4 Incumbent must possess a BachelorA??s Degree in Occupational Safety or related field + 4 years related work experience OR a MasterA??s Degree in Occupational Safety or related field + 2 years related work experience OR a Ph.D. in Occupational Safety or related field OR High School Diploma or equivalent + 12 years specialized training and related work experience. A Certified Industrial Hygienist is preferred. In addition, the incumbents must demonstrate ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and myriad objectives, and the ability to reach consensus on complex issues in a timely and effective manner. Level E5 Incumbent must possess a BachelorA??s Degree in Occupational Safety or related field + 6years related work experience OR a MasterA??s Degree in Occupational Safety or related field + 4 years related work experience OR a Ph.D. in Occupational Safety or related field OR High School Diploma or equivalent + 14 years specialized training and related work experience. Incumbent must be a Certified Industrial Hygienist or perform supervisory duties. In addition, the incumbents must demonstrate ability to independently apply advanced and analysis for complex methods on a continual basis, and the ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and myriad objectives, and the ability to reach consensus on complex issues in a timely and effective manner. Level E6 Incumbent must posses a BachelorA??s Degree in Occupational Safety or related field + 8 years related work experience OR MasterA??s Degree in Occupational Safety or related field + 6 years related work experience OR Ph.D. in Occupational Safety or related field + 4 years related work experience. Incumbent must be a Certified Industrial Hygienist. In addition, the incumbent must demonstrate the ability to work independently on highly specialized and unique projects. Job Description: DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Level E4 1. Coordinates, implements, and monitors the Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health Program to include performing a combination of duties in support of the operating facility to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: - Implementing industrial hygiene operating instructions and procedures for workplace, to include the Chemical Exclusion Area (UPA), and personnel monitoring. Such procedures may include, but are not limited to: - Respiratory Protection - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Confined Space Entry - Hazard Communication - Radiation Safety - LSS Air - Ventilation Certification - Hearing conservation - Non-Agent Sampling (CWBS 1.6.2.1.04) - Performing inspections, audits and investigation of the work environment to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and to ensure a healthy working environment. Making recommendations on solutions to improve deficiencies. - Monitoring the work-site in accordance with above-listed procedures utilizing technical instrumentation to gather data for analysis while ensuring a safe working environment. - Maintaining records of all work-
