Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

JOB SUMMARY:
1. Needs to be a journeyman technician. (At least 4 years as a heavy truck mechanic.) 2. Must be able to work some week ends for 24hour call out on a rotating basis. 3. Must be able to work in the shop and at customer/roadside locations. 3. Must have own tools. Shop tools will be provided. 4. Factory certifications in the following are a plus. A. Cummins engines. B. Caterpillar engines. C. Detroit diesel engines. D. Volvo/Mack engines and or trucks. E. International engines and or trucks. F. Freightliner trucks. G. Automotive/truck A/C certified. 5. Needs to have a current CDL or be able to get one shortly after hired, and clean driving record. 6. State inspectors' license. Need to have one or be able to get one shortly after hired. 7. Employee must have the ability to work with or without close supervision.
