JOB SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of working level professional techincal support duties as needed to install and maintain county wide information, telecommunication and data processing operations of the County. Front-end Web page development(HTML, Javascript, JQuery UI, Flash, Dreamweaver, Silverlight) Back-end development experience (Perl, PHP, Java, ASP (C# or VB), .net, pl/SQL) Experience with multiple Web Browsers (IE 6,7,8, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) Assist in the installation, maintenance and programming of a SharePoint site. Oracle database experience a plus. Develop computer specifications, purchase hardware, assemble computer systems, troubleshooting hardware problems, and upgrade servers and desktops as needed. Maintain an active directory environment. Installing and maintaining virus protection. Troubleshooting problems with end user operation of computer workstations, peripherals. Windows server software, hardward administration. Unix/Linux experience a plus. Assist users with basic software support. Graduation from college with a bachelor's degree in computer science, communications technology, electronics, data management or related field: and Two (2) year of responsible experience performing above or related duties, specific experience computer system and software management is preferred or and equivalent combination of education and experience.
