JOB SUMMARY:
Job Duties: Instruct MSHA courses and Safety training as needed. Work closely with industry partners to ensure UBATC is meeting their needs. Build and promote training partnerships. Requirements: Five years experience in mining industry. Experience in oil and gas industry.Technical expertise operating mining equipment. Must meet MSHA instructor qualifications.Teaching experience (preferably with industry specific training programs and/or in a two year technical college) , and ability to obtain required instructional certifications. Ability to write, develop and implement curriculum and training programs which meet industry specific action and that hold the attention and interest of students. Ability to build training partnerships and to develop and coordinate training instruction with industry representatives to meet college and industry needs. Computer proficiency in word processing, excel and power point presentations. Willing to work a flexible schedule and offer courses when students can attend; this will include day, evening and weekend instruction.
