JOB SUMMARY:
Maintenance Shift Supervisor Saint George Utah Distribution Center DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Are you looking to join one of the best retail teams in America? This is a multi-shift operation with hiring emphasis on an Off Shift. In this role, you will report to the Facility Maintenance Manager and have a team of up to 10 hourly technicians. This person is responsible for maintenance supervision on their specified shift. Candidates will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the activities of the maintenance personnel. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Equipment Maintenance * Rapistan Conveyor Systems * Material Handling Equipment * High-tech sortation/automated laser scanners * HVAC * Welding equipment * Responsible for building and ground maintenance * Resolves various equipment problems * Assist in safety compliance and programs * Selecting, training, motivating and development of staff REQUIRED SKILLS: Our ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training and 1 to 2 years supervisory and/or management experience. Electrical/electronic background and experience with conveyors, welding, air compressors, scanners, electronic controls or industrial building maintenance required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals is key. Previous experience with MP2 program and PLC is preferred. Familiarity with Radio Frequency and pick-to-light systems desired. Must be flexible to work multi-shifts in a fast-paced production environment. Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills are key for all positions, as well as strong planning and organization skills. MS Office Suite proficiency and Bachelors's Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
