JOB SUMMARY:
WBTC Operations Technican. Will perform all tasks necessary to load Con into rail cars, (Operate Loader, track hoe, backhoe, locomotive, track mobile, role tarps on and off of rail cars, take samples of Concentrate, inspect, repair and or maintain rail cars, tarping system and track) within the WBTC facility in a manner that is consistent with the companyapos;s safety and environmental policies. Operator will be responsible for taking samples for moisture content as well as preparing samples to be sent to the lab for con grade and recording data on operator reports and in log books. Operator will be required to perform minor mechanical tasks when necessary. Operator will be reponsible for cleaning work areas and performing daily pre-shift area inspections. Operator will be willing to perform other related duties as assigned. Welding position; must have, or be able pass welding certification for procedre D15.1 which is Railroad welding specificatins for railcars and locomotives. Position must have and maintain welding certificate. B2.1-1001:1990 (R2006)(SWPS) for shielded Metal Arc Welding of Carbon Steel,(M-1/P-1, Group 1 or 2),3/16 through 3/4 inch, in the welded conditiion with backing *Site License* B2.1-1-016: 1994 Standard Welding Procedure Specifications (SWPS) for shielded metal arc welding of carbon steel (M-1/p-l/s-1, Group 1 or 2),1/8 through 1-1/12 inch thick, E7018, as welded or PWHT condition site license. OR B2.1-1-016: Standard Welding Procedure Specifications (SWPS) for shielded metal arc welding of carbon steel (M-1/p-1-s-1 Group 1 or 2), 1/8 through 1-1/12 inch thick E7018, as welded or PWHT conditiion site license Heavy equipment operator and mechanical experience is preferred.
