JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the analysis, installation and administration of various network server platforms that support branch and department employees and act as backup to Information Technology Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully. ?Meets the needs of the end user in a quality and professional manner. ?Maintains and suggests technical training to further expand knowledge of installed technologies while providing timely, accurate and professional service. ?Works in conjunction with Network Manager in installation, upgrades, administration, and trouble-shooting PC / Server networked based hardware and software platforms. ?Maintains PC / Server images and tape media for back-up / disaster recovery. ?Develops and maintains user guides, diagrams, and procedures for PC / Server functions and services. ?Acts as backup for Information Technology Manager. ?Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. Experience Eight years or more experience as a Systems Administrator. Extensive knowledge of the following technologies is preferred; Microsoft Windows client and server Operating Systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, Citrix, LANDesk Management Suite, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Windows Clustering, VMware ESX Server Virtualization, SAN Storage, network/server design and topology. In-depth experience in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining large-scale networks. Credit Union or Banking experience preferred. Education Four-year college degree or equivalent
