Vehicle Driver/Transportation & Food Svc Aide

JOB SUMMARY:
Graduation from high school or equivalent and one year of full-time experience in a health care facility or commercial food service establishment. Prefer experience as a vehicle driver and in food service operations. Must have valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under Center insurance.
Provide transportation services, including travel to/from home to scheduled appointments, community and special events and other assigned outings. Complete pre-trip inspection and report problems to supervisor; Maintain cleanliness of interior and outside of vehicle; Maintain safe conditions and comply with all traffic regulations, observing traffic conditions, avoiding dangerous situations and informing passenger safety rules.
Pick up and deliver prepared meals and serve food after pick up, ensuring adequate temperature in maintained prior to serving; clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. daily; inventory and order/stock supplies; keep daily record of refrigerator/freezer temperatures; check daily for expired food and supplies and discard if expired; complete all required program documentation and assist supervisor as requested.
