Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:
The National Guard Bureau is located in Arlington, VA, a part of the metropolitan Washington DC area. Arlington is a densely populated urban community with a great deal of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Work in a safe, beautiful environment; on-site parking is free but limited; free shuttle bus service is provided to the Pentagon, Crystal City metro bus and VRE stations.  Access to onsite Pentagon Federal Credit Union ATM, barber and hair salon. Diverse workforce; free on-site fitness center; metro bus/shuttle service nearby; within easy driving distance of Washington DC. NGB civilian employees are eligible to receive the full array of benefits available to other federal employees.
