This position is located in the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Program Directorate, Naval Sea Systems Command.

The Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Field Activity, headed by a Commander who reports directly to the Head, Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Commander Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), develops and delivers operationally effective and supportable Ballistic Missile Defense capabilities in Aegis Cruisers and destroyers in defense of the U. S., our deployed forces, allies, and friends; increases the effectiveness of the greater Ballistic Missile Defense System elements; and incrementally increases these capabilities by delivering evolutionary/spiral upgrades as part of BMDS Block upgrades.

Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation.

Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.

You must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

DAWIA (S), Level III certification required.
