This position is organizationally located in the Laser & Optic Systems Branch, within the Directed Energy Division, of the Electromagnetic & Sensor Systems Department, with the permanent duty station at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia. You will conduct test and evaluation of high energy laser systems, designing and building laser weapons systems and conducting various laser effects testing on materials of interest. This position will require and understanding and experience with high energy laser testing and laser effects testing of materials and components.

 

The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions.  This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 step 10.
