Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) serves as the base support of operations for the Joint Force Headquarters-National Capitol Region and the U.S. Military District of Washington, Fort McNair, D.C. Fort Myer traces its origins to the Civil War and Fort McNair has been an Army post for more than 200 years. Henderson Hall provides barracks and support for Marines assigned to Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps as well as certain schools and agencies in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Multiple positions at other centers may be filled from this announcement as positions become available. 

This is a developmental position, from Entry to Skill, to Target Level. Applicants who are placed at the Entry level are required to complete assigned training, and upon completion, will be reassigned to the Skill level with a 6% pay increase. Incumbents must then complete additional training, and upon completion, will be promoted to the Target level with at least a 6% pay increase.

Applicants who submit with their resume or application college degrees or transcripts as stated in the "Qualifications" section below and meet all other requirements, may be placed directly at the Skill or Target levels and at the corresponding pay.

This is a Nonappropriated Fund Regular Part-Time (RPT) position that includes NAF Benefits, with 20 guaranteed work hours per administrative week. Incumbents may be scheduled to work 20-39 hours per administrative week.This position provides direct child care to children ages 6 weeks through 18 years of age. Conversion of employment category (from RPT to RFT) may be accomplished without further competition. The incumbent may be required to work during inclement weather, before and/or after scheduled work hours, special events and weekends, etc.
