One full-time Clinical Dietitian, Renal Nutrition Specialist position is currently available at the Hampton VA Medical Center.  Tour of duty is 7:30am-4pm, Monday – Friday and 8am – 4pm, Saturday – Sunday (Rotating On-Call).  You must be an experienced Renal Nutrition Registered Dietitian.  This announcement is open to all qualified U.S. Citizens.    More than one applicant may be hired from this announcement.  First consideration will be given to permanent VAMC Hampton employees. 

 

This position is located in Hampton VAMC Nutrition and Food Service (NFS), which provides service for a 438 bed hospital (which includes 41 General Medicine and Surgery beds, 169 Domiciliary beds, 94 Nursing Home beds, 64 Spinal Cord Injury unit beds, 60 Psychiatry beds, 10 Hospice beds and a large active Ambulatory Care Service. The Medical Center is affiliated with Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia.
