Come join our team at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, VA. Hampton VAMC is a 468-bed facility which serves a 15-county area in eastern Virginia and a 10-county area in northeastern North Carolina.

 

The Hampton VA Medical Center, Facilities Management Service, Environmental Management Service (EMS) is currently recruiting for the position of Housekeeping Work Leader, WL-3566-2.  The primary purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing housekeeping work for the medical center.  The incumbent is under the supervision of a Housekeeping supervisor. The incumbent is responsible for performing assigned projects in all areas of the hospital. The work is checked for adequacy and compliance with standards of timeliness, cleanliness and orderliness for quality and quantity of workmanship.

 

The tour of duty includes various shifts, weekends and holidays.  More than one applicant may be hired from this announcement.  Applications will be accepted from current permanent Environmental Management Service (EMS), Hampton VAMC employees only.  A current SF50 MUST be provided as proof of employment.
