JOB SUMMARY:

The Department of the Interior is devoted to protecting and preserving the natural resources of this great nation, including National Parks, Landmarks, and the well-being of communities, including those of Native American, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and affiliated Islanders.

This position is located in the National Park Service’s (NPS) Office of the Deputy Comptroller, Financial Management reporting to the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) Program Manager.  The incumbent will serve as the FBMS Property Manager and is primarily responsible for business process analysis that improves the effectiveness and design of the NPS Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) implementation, operation and maintenance.  As the property manager, the incumbent oversees end user support activities, guidance development, user training, and the continual modification of existing systems. In this role, the employee may decide the priority of requested modifications, study the effect of changes on overall system operation, and review recommendations for new capabilities.

This is a Permanent, full-time position and will be located in Herndon, VA.

NPS has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.
