The Recent Graduates Program enables individuals who lack experience to explore Federal civil service employment at the beginning of their careers. The Program engages you at the onset of your work life, before your career paths are fully established. This program will last for 24 months. The primary purpose of this position is to utilize systems analysis to plan, design, and implement information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations. The position is located in the Navy facilities engineering command professional development Center (PDC) program for the purpose of training and career development to meet the human capital requirements of the department's acquisition workforce.
This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) coded position. The DAWIA career field code is (R) Information Technology. The trainee must successfully complete all requirements specified in the Master Development Plan (MDP) for the Information Technology DAWIA acquisition career field and meet certification requirements for Level II. The MDP specifies the competencies, job rotations, formal training, special projects, and education that must be completed during the development program to be successful in the GS-12 for performance level target position.
Must sign a mobility agreement to acknowledge willingness to travel and accept relocation for training and final placement.
