US Army Veterinary Services operates as a subsidiary of Public Health Command. Their mission is to provide military veterinary services in support of United States Army Medical Command and Department of Defense missions. The civilian function of Veterinary Services is a supplemental mission which exists to assist soldiers and their families in the field of animal health and care.
This is a Flex 00 position at the Norfolk, Veterinary Treatment Facility.
The Veterinary Front Office Team responsibilities include but are not limited to; receiving calls and visitors courteously, scheduling appointments, asking pertinent questions tactfully, maintaining patient veterinary medical records, and providing open lines of accurate communication to the rest of the veterinary team. Performs duties in connection with security controls, generates reports on amount of outpatient visits, visitors etc. Conducts monthly inventories.
