This position is located in the Department of Labor (DOL), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), Directorate of Technical Support (TS).  The TS is the engineering, scientific, and testing component for all mine safety and health requirements that provides engineering and scientific expertise to assist MSHA, the states and the mine industry.  The TS conducts investigations, studies, and analyses to resolve specific problems and provides specialized technical services relative to the collective effort in development of mine health and safety standards and regulations for dissemination.
