This position is located in the High Threat Protection Division, Office of Overseas Protection, International Programs Directorate, Diplomatic Security Services, Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
The incumbent serves as a Operations Coordinator, responsible for providing advice and guidance to management pertaining to the vetting of candidates for personal security services contracts, recommending methods to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the vetting process, preparing policies, and standard operations procedures. Serves as the liaison with interagency and vendors on matters related to procurement and operational issues.
