SPECIAL HIRING AUTHORIZES CONSIDERATION: Eligible under Special Appointment Authority; Individuals who are eligible for consideration under special hiring authority (i.e., 30% compensable veterans, severely handicapped individuals, former Peace Corps and VISTA volunteers, etc.) will be accepted and considered non-competitively for this vacancy.

 

This position is located in the Division of Maintenance at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts located in Vienna, VA. No public transportation is available.

 

Performs simple and routine work related to the maintenance, cleaning and repair of park resources.

 

This is a temporary appointment not to exceed 1040 hours in a twelve month period, although position may be terminated sooner or extended depending on the needs of management.

 

Position works outside for long periods in varying weather conditions. Exerts moderately heavy physical effort including lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
