               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b> <BR>A leader in machining and assembly for structural aerospace components is hiring for a ASSEMBLY MECHANIC 1 who receives on the job training and supervision to learn to assembly aerospace structural sections from parts, subassemblies and components.<BR><BR>Duties include:<BR>- Install units, parts, equipment, and components in structural assembly according to blueprints and specifications<BR>- Drill holes in structures and subassemblies, attach brackets, hinges, or clips to secure installation or to fasten subassemblies<BR>- Locate and mark reference points and holes for installation of parts and components, using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments <BR>- Inspect and test installed units, parts, and equipment for fit, performance, and compliance with standards, using measuring instruments and test equipment<BR>- Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points<BR>- Cut, trim, and file parts, and verify fitting tolerances to prepare for installation<BR>- Install bushings using liquid nitrogen or presses as required<BR>- Apply sealants or paint per customer specifications using proper safety devices<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b> <BR>- Ability to use tools such as C-squeeze, arbor presses, ground stud puller, cherry pullers, etc.<BR>- Communicates well verbally and in writing<BR>- Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity<BR>- Strong skills and aptitude in math<BR>- Able to work in the machine shop environment that includes exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc. <BR>- Able to lift up to 40 lbs<BR>- Able to continuously stand and walk throughout the workday<BR>- Able to pass random drug test<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b> <BR>- Full Time, Non-Exempt, Monday through Friday business hours<BR><BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:</b> <BR>- Wages will depend on experience<BR>- Medical, dental, 401k and vacation<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE / DEADLINE:</b><BR>- Position is open until filled<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY / REQUEST A REFERRAL:</b><BR>Report in person with this Job Order Number to your nearest WorkSource office.  Bring in your resume or work history showing you meet all requirements.  Applicants will be screened according to the job requirements listed above.  The employer has requested a limited number of candidates for this position.
