Creates a professional practice image by performing billing and general office duties as efficiently as possible. Promote the smooth flow of work within Patient Financial Services and interface well with patients, physicians and other staff members. Informs the team members most closely associated with the management of the patient with any additional insurance processing needs, modification and/or progress.<BR>Position Prerequisites<BR>High school diploma or equivalent required. Requires 1-3 years healthcare billing or accounts receivable experience, specifically for hospital and/or physician practice (e.g. Family Practice, OB/GYN, Pediatric, Orthopedics). This position requires current knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid requirements, HCPCs guidelines and CMS documentation standards as well as ICD-9 and CPT coding. </font></td>
