<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Medical Biller<BR>About the Position <BR>MedStaff, Inc. is looking for an experienced medical biller for an office in Federal Way. The position is temporary.<BR>Essential requirements:<BR>• <BR>Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospital or clinic insurance billing, including Medicare and Medicaid and private insurance. <BR>• Detailed knowledge and understanding of ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding classification systems, familiar with medical terminology and its applications, insurance rules and regulations.<BR>• Responsible for analyzing claims/bills for manual and electronic processing. This includes patient charges, collection and follow-up, maintaining an accurate patient ledger file and posting payments and adjustments.<BR>• Confers daily with patients or their representatives to establish and sustain a successful payment plan, as evidenced by supervisor's review of documentation for each patient.<BR>• Assists walk-in customers in a courteous manner.<BR>• Reviews and corrects billing and claim edits daily as checked by the supervisor. <BR>• Posts insurance payments and adjustments on accounts, including bank deposit preparation on a daily basis, as observed by supervisor.<BR>• Reviews and grants extensions to individuals who are delinquent on their accounts.<BR>• Sets up Payment and Promises to Pay Plans according to guidelines.<BR>• Maintains the knowledge and ability to exhaust all resources of payment through insurance's state and government agencies.<BR>• Advises indigent patients or their representatives of procedures to apply for Medicaid assistance.<BR>To Apply <BR>Your dream job is waiting for you!!!
