<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Job Category:Sales<BR>Location:Bellevue, WA, US<BR>Job ID:815258-96248<BR>Division:Sales<BR><BR>The Account Technology Strategist will be responsible for providing and owning the technical strategy and assisting the Major Account Manager in management of State and Local Government accounts with a complex and multi-faceted relationship with Microsoft. In this role, you will achieve value-producing deployments, drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects, engage resources and lead a diverse and talented virtual team. The roles and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:<BR>Providing pre-sales technical/architectural support<BR>Evangelizing current and future Microsoft products and technologies including full platform software roadmap<BR>Building and maintaining technical trusted advisor relationships with influential technical decision makers for the successful adoption and deployment of Microsoft products and technologies<BR>Own and manage some of the sales opportunities as deemed by the team<BR>Assisting the Account Manager in formulating and executing the team''s sales strategy in meeting revenue goals and winning strategic initiatives<BR>Develop a cohesive account plan and ensure virtual team members understand their roles in the plan<BR>Identifying customer requirements and providing feedback into appropriate Microsoft business groups<BR>Coordinating a virtual team encompassing key stakeholders in closing opportunities<BR><BR>The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work with senior and executive level management in Fortune 100 accounts or large Government accounts, and the ability to map a customer''s business need to technology solutions. The successful candidate must be able to articulate the business value of Microsoft software with ROI analysis and position them in competitive scenarios.<BR>Qualifications: Applicants must have a strong technical background with a minimum of 10+ years pre-sales and computer software experience. The Account Technology Strategist must have an excellent understanding of the competitive landscape within State and local government. Experience with a global consulting firm/systems integrator or major computer vendor is desired. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required. Candidate must possess demonstrated decision making, problem solving, cross team collaboration and negotiation skills.<BR>A BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is preferred. MCSE or equivalent professional certification is preferred. Experience working in the high tech manufacturing industry is preferred.<BR>The candidates'' technical expertise should include broad and/or in-depth knowledge across the following Microsoft products and Technologies: Windows Server family, Active Directory, Microsoft Office and Windows Client SQL Server, Exchange Server, and Systems </font></td>
