For more information, visitwww.coinstarinc.com.<BR>????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????<BR>Accountant II<BR>?<BR>This position is responsible for supporting the monthly accounting close and preparing monthly account reconciliations.?This position reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager.<BR>?<BR>Summary of Key Responsibilities:<BR>-?????????Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger account analysis during financial close<BR>-?????????Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is included<BR>-?????????Identify areas for process improvement including leveraging systems and tools to develop efficient work processes.<BR>-?????????Update and document accounting practices and procedures<BR>-?????????Research GAAP and other compliance issues as they are identified<BR>-?????????Support interim and year-end audit processes through completion of required schedules and supplemental information<BR>-?????????Perform analytical procedures as required, including researching variance between actual and expected results<BR>-?????????Develop trusted business relationships with accounting and finance personnel across the company by providing accounting guidance, delivering information and offering improvements to existing processes<BR>?<BR>Qualifications & Experience:<BR>-?????????BA/BS Accounting, Finance or related preferred<BR>-?????????Minimum of 4 years accounting experience; a combination of industry and public accounting experience a plus<BR>-?????????CPA a plus<BR>-?????????Must have experience with month-end close process<BR>-?????????Fixed asset accounting and lease accounting experience preferred<BR>-?????????Demonstrated strong accounting and analytical skills<BR>-?????????Commitment to continual process improvement<BR>-?????????Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel proficiency to include lookup and pivot tables)<BR>-?????????SharePoint and SAP (ECC/BPC) experience a plus<BR>-?????????Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)<BR>-?????????Knowledge of internal controls (Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, segregation of duties)<BR>?<BR>In addition to a rewarding career, Coinstar offers excellent employee benefits and competitive compensation.
