Provide safety-related training resources and technical expertise to local Division managers and supervisors. Provide Area President with timely information related to Division safety compliance activities<BR><BR><BR>REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:<BR><BR>* Audit Division compliance with applicable OSHA safety regulations, i.e., Lockout / Tagout, Confined Space, Hazard Communication, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire prevention, Emergency response, monthly facility inspections, employee training requirements, and record keeping requirements.<BR>* Audit Division compliance with Federal and State Department of Transportation regulations including hours of service, driver qualification files, vehicle maintenance records, drug & alcohol testing requirements and record keeping.<BR>* Audit record keeping requirements including the OSHA 200 or 300 logs, DOT accident register and accident / injury reports.<BR>* Assess and assist with Division tracking of accidents / injuries, DOT physical renewals and annual driver license reviews.<BR>* Audit and continuously assess new hire orientation training programs (in cooperation with Area HR Mgr) .<BR>* Prepare training materials and assist Division management with monthly employee safety meetings.<BR>* Participation in annual budget process.<BR>* Audit and assess ongoing management of return to duty (light duty) programs.<BR>* Participate in investigation of serious accidents / injuries and monitor supervisor investigations of all minor accidents and injuries.<BR>* Provide Area President with timely accident / injury trending and other compliance reports.<BR>* Work to develop overall effective safety programs.<BR>* Provide ongoing safety training to facility Safety Managers / Co-coordinators.<BR>* Participate in review process of all Division facility written compliance programs annually as required.<BR>* Manage or monitor Area safety incentive programs.<BR>* Participation in any and all Division OSHA or DOT compliance inspections that may occur.<BR>* Assist Division management with Monthly facility inspections / assessments.<BR>* Periodically arrange guest speakers for Division safety meetings.<BR><BR>Interested candidates should submit resumes and salary requirements by clicking &ldquo;Apply Now".
