Can you analyze a situation and offer financial and economic assessment to facilitate good decisions?<BR><BR>We currently have a role as Business Analysis Manager in the Online Services Division. In this role you will be involved and actively participate in the business decision process on a large array of issues. This role requires having ability to understand the big picture and an eye on underlying details and have the ability to lead projects and influence teams. This role will influence identification of short term and long term areas of R&D investments, new business deals, upcoming/ unproven investment opportunities and identify business risks. It is a great role for a motivated strategic thinker to define and shape the future of online services.<BR><BR>Responsibilities<BR>Develop R&D Long Range Plan. Have the expertise to develop an insightful financial model to reflect a multi-year strategy for areas of investment across Search, Display and overall Bing ecosystem<BR><BR>Develop an all up performance scorecard across R&D. Track progress against key and critical Engineering initiatives like Bing global roll out, Win 8 initiatives. Develop metrics to track against key Engineering initiatives throughout the year with assessment of Engineering roadmap (product release timelines) and investment incurred.<BR><BR>Spearhead benchmarking studies for R&D investments with competition and internal to Microsoft. Tasks include creating detailed competitive analysis, industry research, business case creation, financial analyses, that will influence the long range planning for R&D.<BR><BR>Drive wide ranging projects on cost optimization, investment decisions, drivers of efficiency. Identify areas of improvement for MBR and internal communication.<BR><BR>Ability to be a strong back up to R&D Finance Leads with high visibility to Engineering leaders.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications and Skills<BR>Strong strategy and business analysis skills.
