Provide enterprise-wide, database administration support for production systems and provide DBA services to application development teams, including database design, database generation, coding, and database production support. Work with leading edge technology providing leadership and expertise for researching, evaluating, designing, testing, recommending, and planning implementation of new versions of Oracle database and database tools. Install, configure, patch and support Fusion APPS databases and Fusion Middleware stacks. Perform day-to-day database administration and ensure integrity, security and availability of applications environments. Work with global team members to ensure a smooth task handover across different regions. Fix environment-related bugs filed by developers. Develop scripts to automate functions and processes, and monitor database performance.Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, followed by eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a computer software engineer or database administration-related occupation. Experience must include: 1. eight years of Oracle database administration, including database management. 2. Oracle Applications; 3. Programming languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell scripting. 4. Apache/Oracle Application Server; 5. Implementing software applications and/or systems. 6. Operating systems: UNIX, Windows, LINUX, Solaris. 7. Enterprise Manager, Identity Management/SSO.
