The role will provide decision support and have ownership for forward looking business and operational planning, ongoing business and supplier information analysis, supplier-based reporting, business metrics analysis and financial forecasting, and business performance measurement. This position has an important role in providing the leadership of the Global Transport and Tour Operations organization, in addition to the respective points-of-demand supported by this organization, with information and conclusions necessary to allow the business owners better understand their customers, suppliers, competitors, and business effectiveness in an effort to improve performance and lead Expedia to further growth and stronger business results.<BR><BR>Responsibilities<BR>* Develop and formalize financial planning, reporting and analysis.<BR>* Influence decision making through financial analysis, modeling, and other support, working closely with business lines, global operations, financial reporting, and other teams as necessary to ensure business partners meet the financial objectives of the organization.<BR>* Prepare monthly business reviews covering financial and non-financial metrics, including performance against stated objectives.<BR>* Drive the business line forecasting process, including review of financial performance against forecasts via meetings with budget holders.
