The person in this position will be report directly to the Director of IS Applications, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Radiation Oncology Department Manager. S/he will be responsible primarily for coordinating, maintaining, and implementing the Radiation Oncology computer systems and programs. Will support the IS needs of other hospital departments as time allows. S/he will serve as system administrator and coordinate the ARIA systems and databases.<BR>Examples of duties include:<BR>* Maximizing fully the systems'' capabilities to meet the departmental goals of quality patient care, cost management, and operational efficiency<BR>* Coordinating, preparing, reviewing, and compiling specialized reports<BR>* Assisting in the analysis and selection of new equipment<BR>* Determining departmental impact of hardware/software upgrades and serving as overall project manager for such upgrades<BR>* Preparing, delivering, and coordinating computer training for Radiation Oncology staff and physicians<BR>The person in this role is a technology specialist and project leader, and serves as an advisor and consultant on technologies and both clinical and business processes. This person provides expertise to maximize systems in support of efficient process and quality patient care. The Senior Systems Analyst supports communication, workflow documentation, issue reporting and other requirements and works closely with vendors. As a member of the Clinical Analysts team, the analyst cross-trains other team members on support of the Radiation Oncology systems, and participate in the support of other clinical applications. The analyst serves as the IS ambassador to the Radiation Oncology department, and is viewed as an active member of both teams.<BR>Minimum Requirements:<BR>? 5 years experience as an analyst supportingapplications, assisting with system implementations and upgrades, and functioning in a project management role.<BR>? Bachelor?s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.<BR>? Experience with imaging systems and strong HL7 interface skills.<BR>The RIGHT FIT? we are looking for includes:<BR>?
